Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using grams-to-cups.org (the "Site"), operated by Grams to Cups ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site. These terms apply to every visitor.

Use of the Site

The Site provides free calculators, conversion charts, ingredient reference data and articles about baking measurement. You may use it for any lawful purpose, including in a home or professional kitchen. You agree not to:

• attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its hosting;
• scrape or crawl the Site at a volume or speed that degrades it for other people;
• copy the Site's content wholesale to build a competing site or dataset;
• click ads on the Site other than out of genuine interest, or encourage others to do so;
• use the Site to distribute malware or unlawful content.

We may restrict access for anyone who breaks these rules.

Accuracy of Conversions

Every grams-to-cups value on the Site is an approximation based on reviewed baking references and a stated measuring method (spooned, scooped or packed, as noted on each ingredient page). Real ingredients vary with brand, grind, humidity and how you fill the cup. We work to keep the data accurate and current, but we don't guarantee that a conversion will match your ingredients exactly or that a recipe will turn out a particular way. For recipes that depend on precise ratios, such as bread, macarons or candy, weigh your ingredients with a kitchen scale.

Food Safety and Allergies

The Site is about measurement, not nutrition, health or food safety. Nothing on it is medical or dietary advice. If you cook for someone with an allergy or dietary restriction, rely on product labels and qualified advice, not on the Site.

Intellectual Property

The Site's text, charts, tables, compiled ingredient data, design and code belong to Grams to Cups or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. The name "Grams to Cups" and our logo may not be used in a way that suggests we endorse you without our written permission.

What you may do without asking:

• print or download our charts for use in your own kitchen, classroom or workplace;
• copy individual conversion results into your own recipes;
• link to any page on the Site, and quote short passages with a link back to the source page.

Republishing our charts, tables, data or articles on another website, in an app or in print requires our permission. Contact us — we're often happy to work something out.

Advertising and Links

The Site is free because it displays ads. We don't choose individual ads, and an ad appearing on the Site is not an endorsement of the product or advertiser. Ads never influence our ingredient data.

The Site also links to other websites, such as the sources cited on ingredient pages. We don't control those websites or ads and aren't responsible for their content, products, accuracy or privacy practices. Your dealings with them are between you and them.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. You use conversion results and baking advice from the Site at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided free of charge, and its conversion results are for reference only. We do our best to keep our tools accurate, but we can't take responsibility for the decisions you make based on these results or for what comes of them. When the stakes are higher — commercial baking, large batches, allergies or food safety — please check the numbers yourself and use your own judgment.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be waived under law.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
